Vetted Painters is looking for a SaaS Revenue Accountant with a strong background in developing, maintaining, and enforcing our revenue recognition policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enforce our revenue recognition policies and procedures
  • Assist with the development or improvement of new or existing revenue recognition processes and controls ·
  • Reconcile Dynamics GP to Processor reports to ensure we have recognized all revenue correctly ··
  • Assist with annual audit requests ·
  • Create, maintain, and distribute reporting on various revenue segments.
  • Track, analyze and report on metrics such as dunning, disputes, churn rates, renewal rates, and ACH returns.
  • Create and issue custom reporting to CEO as needed.
  • Work with internal departments and payment processors to find ways to improve our processes through automation and innovative new practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to Billing Support Specialist to ensure customer satisfaction with Vetted Painters services while enforcing policy.
  • Review and approve or deny exceptions to billing and refund policies.
  • Oversee manual billings from payment source exceptions.
  • Monitor and ensure that disputes are handled appropriately.
  • Review, maintain and process sales tax obligations, reporting, and returns

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Minimum 5 years accounting experience
  • Minimum 3 years relevant revenue accounting/reporting experience in a SAAS environment
